It’s ok! There won’t be any more babies aborted for vaccines…will there?

Do fetal tissue cell lines last forever or will they need to be replaced?
By Christian Hacking & Debbie Mountford
Ever since CBR UK republished 12 Faulty Assumptions about Fetal Tissue cell lines in March of 2021, I have received a steady stream of emails challenging one particular assumption: “No extra abortions are necessary” (No.9).
It fundamentally boils down to the question of whether the cell lines used in the covid vaccine like HEK293 are “immortal” or in fact will need to be replaced over the coming decades, thus fueling the need for more babies to be harvested (some while still alive), to generate new cell lines. HEK293 was created from the kidney cells of a 12 -13 week old baby girl, whom we have named Johanna. You can read more about the sickening brutality of how these cells are harvested from babies like Johanna in my related piece: What the HEK?!
My search for an answer has taken me far and wide and is not as clear cut as I would like, but I hope this article will at least inch the conversation forward.
For those of you unlikely to exercise your finger by scrolling to the bottom, I have stuck a summary of my verdict at the top, and then elaborate on how I got there underneath.

France's decision to insert abortion into the constitution could be the wake-up call Britain needs
Mar 05, 2024 | Christian Hacking
Photo by Rafael Garcin on Unsplash
Last night, in the historic Palace of Versailles, 13 miles southwest of Paris, French lawmakers voted in favour of amending their constitution to ensure abortion is a “guaranteed freedom.” The symbolic revote took place, as is custom with all constitutional changes, following the success of the same amendment in both the National Assembly (lower house) in January and the Senate (upper house) last Wednesday.

Has the UK Gov approved DIY abortion... or has the real fight just begun?
Feb 09, 2022 | Christian Hacking
An opinion piece by Christian Hacking
A number of tweets and articles have been published in recent days suggesting that the Department of Health and Social Care has approved the killing of unborn babies at home, permanently.
Last Wednesday the UK’s largest abortion provider tweeted that “the Government will not revoke permission for at home early medical abortion”. This was followed with an article in Refinery the same day stating:
“Today, the Government made an announcement that abortion campaigners have long hoped it would make. It will allow at home early medical abortion (also known as telemedicine) to continue.”
This was accompanied by a showreel of quotes from the usual suspects (Katherine O’Brian and Dame Diana Johnson) reasserting the claim.
But is this true? Has the Government really decided to keep these dangerous measures? And if not what can explain the supposed boldness of the abortion industry in asserting it has?

Debunking Times article on whether the “trend towards early termination without surgery is good news for everyone bar religious hardliners”
Nov 19, 2021 | Christian Hacking
This Friday Emma Duncan’s opinion piece was published in the Times. In it she argues that the shift to medical abortions in recent years, particularly with new DIY abortion measures over lockdown, has “made abortion less fraught, personally, politically and morally”. However, is this true? CBR UK examines the facts behind the assertions.

The death of Sarah Dunn - Why has the abortion industry got off scot free?
Nov 18, 2021 | Christian Hacking
The inquest into the tragic death of Sarah Dunn, who died in April last year from sepsis following a “medical termination” four weeks earlier, ended this week. Of all the reporting I have read, all the blame fell on everyone other than those who were most ultimately responsible; the abortion industry.

Shooting ourselves in the womb - Why abortion is a far greater catastrophe than anyone realises
Aug 28, 2021 | Christian Hacking
At the start of lockdown some experts speculated that the enforced quarantining of the healthy may lead to a boom in covid babies, however, a year later the opposite has occurred with experts warning of record lows in birth rates during this period. It would appear hesitation rather than copulation has won the day.
This article examines why this is such a big deal and what it has to do with abortion.

“Cellular landscape cross-section through a eukaryotic cell.”
- by Evan Ingersoll and Gael McGill. https://t.co/YERCmdIJXH pic.twitter.com/3pxT3blsgUAt first glance it looks like a bird’s eye view of a futuristic city or perhaps some sort of Indian festival of colours.
In reality it is the most detailed model of a human cell yet created.
The model was created by Evan Ingersoll and Gael McGill using x-ray, NMR and cryoelectron microscopy datasets.
It was published by Mahjabin Noroozi, a researcher at Stanford University (USA), in November of last year, and has not stopped causing wonder and awe online since. It has recently been doing the rounds in the UK.

Why skipping “Israel” in a Bible overview is detrimental to the health of the Church

The ethical vaccine debate
On Wednesday this week Emeritus paediatric professor at UCL- John Wyatt debated David Brennan from Brephos (the Greek word for child, in and outside of the womb) on whether Christians should accept vaccines that use fetal tissue cell lines in their production. The debate was a friendly affair between brothers, with plenty of agreement around the facts, and a charming moment at the end where each of the debaters introduced the others' website. This said, the debate did clarify a fundamental difference between the two men's ethical approach to the vaccines and the Scriptures.

What the HEK?!
Feb 09, 2021 | Christian Hacking
What is HEK 293?
HEK 293 is a human cell line created using a kidney from a dissected unborn baby in the Netherlands between 1972 and 1973. It is the second most common cell line and is used extensively in “pharmaceutical and biomedical research”. It is also used in vaccine creation and cancer research.
