Doug is planning to walk the Skye Trail in September 2026 to raise funds in support of the work of Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform UK.

His itinerary is as follows:

• Sunday, 6th September: fly to Barra
  
  
• Monday, 7th September: Vatersay to Ardmhor, Barra
  
  
• Tuesday, 8th September: ferry to Eriskay, hike to Daliburgh, transport to Lochmaddy to get ferry to Uig, Skye.
  
  
• Wednesday, 9th September: Rubha Hunish to Flodigarry
  
  
• Thursday, 10th September: Flodigarry to Bealach a’ Mhòramhain
  
  
• Friday, 11th September: Bealach a’ Mhòramhain to Storr car park
  
  
• Saturday, 12th September: Storr car park to Portree
  
  
• Sunday, 13th September: Portree to Sligachan
  
  
• Monday, 14th September: Sligachan to Elgol
  
  
• Tuesday, 15th September: Elgol to Torrin
  
  
• Wednesday, 16th September: Torring to Broadford
